Leslie B. Posnock is an attorney and community advocate who has been practicing law in Monmouth County for 24 years.
An outstanding mediator and problem solver, Ms. Posnock possesses all of the skills of an effective Surrogate: the ability to bring people together, analyze complex situations, and address ever-present legal issues involving probate, adoption, and guardianship. Indeed, having an adopted child, Ms. Posnock possesses a deep personal understanding of the adoption process, as well as the concerns of adoptive parents and children.
Outside of the law, Ms. Posnock served on the New Jersey Jewish Leadership Council of Obama for America, wrote op-ed pieces and campaigned as a member of NJ Women for Biden, and was a surrogate speaker for the first Clinton campaign. She was State Vice President of NARAL-NJ, and the Political Affairs Chair of the Southern NJ Region of Hadassah, an organization with more than 14,000 members.
Ms. Posnock began her career as a Public Defender in Philadelphia, and takes community service seriously. She served on the Board of the Jewish Community Center of Greater Monmouth County, and chaired their Festival of Books, Culture and the Arts for many years. She is currently President of her alumni class at the University of Pennsylvania. She lives in Ocean Township with her husband and two daughters.
